Hands on experience in developing dashboards on Splunk and AppDynamics. Experience in developing automation scripts using Ansible. 12 years of experience in application support or Site Reliability Engineering
GoodtoHave
Knowledge of Microservices. Experience with NoSQL Database such as MongoDB Production Support experience. Experience in developing interactive Web apps using Angular JS/Node JS. Experience in cloud engineering/Automation (Docker Kubernettes APIGEE Openshift).
Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role
1
Improve reliability and quality of applications by designing SLAs SLOs SLIs and enforcing error budgets
2
Measure and optimize application performance
3
Improve observability of applications by configuring monitoring on applications and infrastructure
4
Analyze the applications architecture to assess risks and implement solutions to mitigate them
5
Participate in system design consulting platform management and capacity planning
6
Conduct Blameless postmortems to proactively prevent repeatable issues.
7
Provide primary operational support and engineering for multiple applications
8
Develop innovative and scalable solutions to automate IT operations and eliminate toil
9
Drive adoption of selfhealing and resiliency patterns such as circuit breaker bulkhead etc
10
Apply Analytics on historic data such as incidents and usage patterns to predict issues and take proactive action
