Summary:
-
Plan and organize structural analysis work at the program level to ensure compliance with structural integrity and stability requirements.
-
Develop integrate and document complex structural requirements for system design.
-
Coordinate with engineering teams to establish the products environment.
-
Guide product design and verify structural integrity using analytical methods FEM models and simulations throughout the product lifecycle.
-
Collaborate with customers and regulatory agencies to define certification processes and ensure requirements are met.
-
Review and approve certification results.
-
Develop test plans support test execution and analyze results to ensure systems and components meet requirements.
-
Define and organize test programs to validate and verify that customer and regulatory agency requirements are satisfied.
-
Develop analytical tools and processes to improve development effectiveness quality and efficiency.
-
Investigate emerging technologies to shape future product designs to meet projected requirements.
-
Work under consultative direction in a nonmanagerial nonleadership role with regular and predictable attendance.
Required Skills:
-
Typically acquired through a Bachelors degree in engineering computer science mathematics physics or related fields with 14 years of relevant work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. PhD 9 years Masters 12 years).
