Job Description
Job Title: Electrical inspector
Location: Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
About Our Client:
Our client is a key player in a consortium dedicated to delivering the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia ambitious National Renewable Energy Program. This initiative aims to achieve a total renewable energy capacity of 11.4 GW once fully operational.
Summary: We are seeking a skilled Electrical Inspector with specialized experience in the oil and gas offshore sector to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that electrical installations and systems comply with industry standards safety regulations and operational requirements. This position is critical in maintaining the integrity and safety of electrical systems in offshore environments
Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive inspections of electrical systems equipment and installations on offshore platforms to ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards.
Analyze electrical designs blueprints and specifications to ensure that installations are performed according to approved plans and industry regulations.
Prepare detailed inspection reports documenting findings code violations and recommendations for corrective actions.
Examine electrical blueprints plans and specifications to ensure that installations are designed and executed properly.
Test electrical systems and components to identify any defects or safety hazards ensuring that they function correctly and safely
Offer recommendations and guidance to contractors builders and property owners on necessary repairs upgrades and compliance measures.
Work closely with engineers electricians and other inspectors to coordinate inspections and ensure comprehensive compliance.
Requirements
Diploma in the relevant discipline with a minimum of 10 years of experience OR
Bachelor s Degree in Engineering with at least 4 years of experience
Preferred: Experience in the oil & gas offshore service sector
Preference for candidates with ARAMCO experience
ARAMCO ComputerBased Testing (CBT) is an added advantage
Immediate availability required
Relevant certifications (e.g. Certified Electrical Inspector Offshore Safety Certification) are preferred.
Strong understanding of electrical codes (NEC IEC etc.) and safety regulations applicable to offshore oil and gas environments.
