Position: Data Warehouse Technical Specialist
Location: Raleigh NC (27603)
Client: State of North Carolina
Duration: 12 MonthsJob Description:
We are seeking an experienced Data Warehouse Technical Specialist to support a departmental data warehouse. The ideal candidate will have advanced technical expertise and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders. This role involves designing implementing and maintaining complex database systems with a focus on cloud integration and data migration.Key Responsibilities:
- Design and maintain Oracle and SQL Server databases.
- Deploy and manage databases on cloud platforms (OCI AWS Azure).
- Migrate data from mainframe systems to modern relational databases.
- Write and optimize Unix Shell scripts for automation.
- Implement ETL methodologies and manage data transfer processes.
Technical Skills:
- Extensive experience with Oracle SQL Server and DB2 (10 Years)
- Cloud database management (OCI AWS Azure) (5 Years)
- Integration of onprem and cloud databases (5 Years)
- Strong experience with Unix/Linux environments (10 Years)
- Proficiency in C/C SQL and ETL processes (10 Years)
