Overview:
The Senior Infrastructure Engineer will be responsible for software development analysis and troubleshooting. This role requires expertise in system operations working with IBM products MQs and AWS technologies. The position involves designing coding testing and providing direct support for missioncritical applications.
Position: 6Month Contract (Possible extension)
Responsibilities:
- Technical Design & Development (25%): Lead design coding and testing of complex applications. Serve as a subject matter expert ensuring adherence to standards and best practices.
- Software Analysis & Testing (25%): Analyze requirements and perform software testing including automated unit tests and structured test case development.
- Software Solutions & Maintenance (25%): Develop and implement enterpriselevel software solutions. Maintain existing systems and recommend improvements.
- Technical Support & Mentorship (25%): Provide technical support for highvisibility critical issues. Work with crossfunctional teams and mentor junior engineers.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology or Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- 5 years in software development including coding design and testing.
- Expertise in software architecture requirements definition and system integration.
- In lieu of a degree 4 additional years of relevant work experience.
Preferred Skills & Knowledge:
- Advanced proficiency in cloud technologies (AWS Azure) and databases (SQL Oracle MongoDB PostgreSQL).
- Familiarity with agile methodologies CI/CD tools and software engineering best practices.
- Experience with IBM products MQs and server operations troubleshooting.
- Strong communication skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
