Do you want to be part of a global IT team where you can contribute to system design solutions for an international company in designing and manufacturing intralogistics systems
At BEUMER Group we are looking for a highly motivated and skilled IT Specialist CAx (CAD/CAM Specialist) to join our team of IT specialist supporting the business. Our Global Information Technology department operates the global internal IT landscape of the BEUMER Group with more than 5500 employees and external partners.
Deploying new IT solutions
As the new IT Specialist CAx your key responsibilities are to understand the tool and data landscape for system design in our Airport and Logistics projects and act as the expert of our IT technology setup for Autodesk products. The role involves supporting the team lead in investigating new tool technologies participating in the deployment of system design tools and providing global 2nd level support. In addition to this your tasks include but are not limited to:
- Participating in the deployment of system design tools and planned updates to the organization.
- Assisting the team lead in analyzing IT demands in the system design area.
- Architecting the IT setup of the system design tool landscape and coordinate with global IT infrastructure.
- Implementing IT solutions in the system design area.
- Acting as an IT partner in lowcode tools for system design to maintain good governance with the business.
- Supporting standards for CADData collaboration with customers.
- Training key users and create relevant training materials.
Strong communicator
The ideal candidate has knowledge of system design for project businesses with expertise in Autodesk products and IT technology setup. With your excellent communication skills and deep understanding of engineering processes you are a natural partner to the business in supporting their needs and to your colleagues in IT in implementing new solutions.
Moreover we are looking for someone with the following qualifications:
- Educational background in Engineering
- Experience with Autodesk Products (AutoCAD Navisworks Civil3D Advance Steel Inventor Vault)
- Experience with PDM/PLM systems preferably SAP PLM (ECTR) or Autodesk Vault
- Knowledge of software package creation and deployment methods.
