We are looking for a fulltime Project Controller who will define project goals objectives budgets and schedules create project plans and set deadlines assign tasks and monitor progress resolve issues and communicate with stakeholders evaluate project management procedures and adhere to client specifications.
Responsibilities:
Successful candidate will be required to:
Prepare and update Project Schedules consisting of engineering procurement and construction.
Develop and maintain deliverable schedules and Progress S Curves.
Implement and oversee Earned Value Management (EVM) processes.
Track and monitor expenditure on weekly and monthly basis ensuring alignment with project budgets.
Prepare and update different schedules critical activity reports and other relevant project documentation.
Monitor and control to meet the Project Management requirement of schedule adherence through Planning Report Progress Variance Analysis Report Critical Path Analysis etc.
Utilise Primavera (P6) and MS Project software proficiently for project planning and tracking.
Apply working knowledge of design procurement and construction/field services work to enhance project control processes.
Conduct data analytics using Power BI tools to generate insightful project reports and dashboards.
Identify and mitigate project risks developing contingency plans as necessary.
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure project milestones are met and resources are efficiently allocated.
Conduct regular project status meetings and prepare comprehensive reports for senior management and stakeholders.
Develop and implement standardised project control methodologies and best practices across the organisation.
Provide mentorship and guidance to junior project control team members fostering their professional development.
Continuously improve project control processes by staying updated with industry trends and incorporating new technologies when appropriate.
Develop and maintain risk registers ensuring proactive risk management throughout the project lifecycle.
Liaise with finance teams to reconcile project financials and ensure accurate cost reporting.
Conduct postproject evaluations to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement in future projects.
Assist in the development and implementation of project management software and tools to enhance efficiency.
Participate in bid preparations and contract negotiations providing expert input on project control aspects.
Qualifications :
Qualifications And Experience
Bachelor of Engineering with 8 to 12 years of experience in project control or related field.
Proven expertise in using Primavera P6 and MS Project for complex project scheduling and management.
Advanced proficiency in MS Office suite particularly Excel for data analysis and reporting.
Demonstrable experience in Earned Value Management (EVM) principles and applications.
Strong working knowledge of engineering procurement and construction processes in largescale projects.
Proficiency in data analytics and visualisation tools particularly Power BI.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong time management skills and capability to prioritise tasks effectively across various projects.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with international project teams.
Experience in preparing and analysing critical path schedules and progress variance reports.
Familiarity with project cost control and budgeting processes.
Knowledge of industrystandard project management methodologies (e.g. PRINCE2 PMI).
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fastpaced environment.
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with attention to detail.
Willingness to travel occasionally for projectrelated purposes.
