Job Description
As a Rubrik Backup Engineer you will:
- Manage configure and maintain Rubrik Cloud Backup and Recovery solutions.
- Design and implement backup and recovery strategies to ensure data protection.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to backup failures or data restoration.
- Provide expertise in Rubrik platform integration and data lifecycle management.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure optimal deployment and operational performance.
- Perform backup and disaster recovery tests to validate system readiness.
- Develop and document backup procedures standards and best practices.
What You Bring to the Table:
- Indepth knowledge of Rubrik Cloud Backup and Recovery architecture.
- Strong understanding of cloud environments and backup technologies.
- Proven experience with disaster recovery planning and execution using Rubrik.
- Expertise in managing largescale backup infrastructures.
- Experience with system monitoring troubleshooting and performance tuning.
- Strong knowledge of scripting and automation to streamline backup processes.
- 68 years of relevant experience working in a backup engineering or systems administration role.
You should possess the ability to:
- Work independently and as part of a team to ensure robust backup solutions.
- Prioritize tasks effectively and meet deadlines under pressure.
- Solve complex technical problems in a fastpaced environment.
- Design and optimize backup workflows to meet business needs.
- Communicate effectively with technical and nontechnical stakeholders.

- Document and maintain detailed records of backup systems and procedures.

As a Python Developer, you will: Design, develop, and maintain automation scripts using Python and shell scripting. Work with the Robot Framework to implement test automation processes. Manage infrastructure configurations and deployments through Ansible. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the smooth integration of automation tools. Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing code to improve efficiency and reliability. Contribute to the continuous improvement of automation practices and workflows. What You Bring to the Table: 6-8 years of experience in Python programming and shell scripting. Expertise in test automation using the Robot Framework. Strong experience in using Ansible for infrastructure automation. Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and how automation fits within the DevOps lifecycle. Proficient in troubleshooting and debugging automation scripts and systems. Ability to work in a collaborative environment and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You should possess the ability to: Automate complex workflows and processes efficiently. Design and develop robust, reusable code and automation solutions. Analyze and resolve issues quickly and efficiently, ensuring minimal downtime. Maintain version control and adhere to best practices in coding and development.
