Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain the backend infrastructure for a generative AI platform ensuring optimal performance scalability and reliability.

• Design and implement workflow orchestration solutions using Python and Terraform to streamline and automate processes within the AI program.

• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to gather requirements develop technical specifications and deliver highquality code in an Agile environment.

• Utilize DevOps best practices to continuously integrate test and deploy code updates ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency using approved strategic tooling (Jira Clarity Rally) to manage and prioritize backlog requirements and reporting.

• Leverage Azure platform experience to build and manage cloudbased infrastructure optimizing for cost performance and security using products such as Azure DevOps Azure App Service and Azure Functions.

• Stay uptodate with the latest industry trends and advancements in AI analytics and backend system engineering to ensure competitiveness and innovation.

• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers fostering a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues working closely with other team members and stakeholders to ensure timely resolution and minimal impact on the AI program.

• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for the backend systems including architecture diagrams API specifications and operational guides.

• Actively contribute to the ongoing improvement of regulatory compliance by ensuring all backend systems adhere to relevant data protection and privacy regulations as well as internal policies and procedures.

Technical Knowledge:

• Proficient in Python.

• Must have experience in prompt engineering using LLMs

• Experience with popular Python web frameworks such as Flask or FastAPI.

• Experience in Machine Learning and Deep Learning.

• Experience/knowledge in using Generative AI /OpenAI LLMs i.e. GPT NLP Transformers.

• Exposure to OpenAI services in Azure will be preferred.

• Experience working in a cloud environment such as Microsoft Azure.

• Proficient in using version control systems such as Git.

• Knowledge of relational databases such as SQL Server.

• Familiarity with JavaScript would be beneficial.

• Ability to write unit tests and conduct TestDriven Development (TDD).

• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines for automated build testing and deployment.

• Experience working in an agile environment.

• Ability to write clear and comprehensive documentation for code and APIs.
