Job Description:

The Machine Operator is responsible for setting up operating and maintaining CNC machines to produce parts and tools from various materials including metal and plastic. This role involves interpreting technical drawings and blueprints programming the machines and ensuring the final products meet quality standards. Key responsibilities include setting up and operating CNC lathes mills and grinders loading materials and monitoring the machining process. The machinist must write and input CNC programs using Gcode or CAM software adjust machine settings for optimal production and inspect finished parts for accuracy using measuring instruments like calipers and micrometers. They are also responsible for performing routine machine maintenance troubleshooting issues maintaining production records and documenting changes to CNC programs. Adherence to safety protocols and compliance with company policies and industry regulations are essential to ensure a safe working environment.
