Job Description
Seeking a Gastroenterology Physicians to provide clinic and surgical care at a healthcare center in Little Rock Arkansas(AR). The ideal candidate will possess a full and unrestricted license and is Board Certified/Board Eligible (BC/BE).

Requirements:
Full and unrestricted License in any State or US Territory
BC/BE by the American Board of Internal Medicine
Minimum of one year of experience in direct patient care
BLS and ACLS
DEA Certificate

Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive Gastroenterology care including clinical services and procedures such as EGD Colonoscopy Endoscopic Ultrasound and ERCP.
Offer consultative services at the patients bedside for nonambulatory patients and in the clinic for those who can visit the outpatient facility.
Notify patients of their test results promptly.
Deliver discharge education and followup instructions coordinating with the next care setting for Gastroenterology patients.
Participate in continuous quality improvement activities and attend committee meetings as required by the facilitys Chief of Service Chief of Staff or their designee.
Complete necessary QM/PI documentation for procedures complications and outcomes adhering to patient safety and infection control standards.
Strive to prevent medication errors falls and patient injuries during care delivery.
Perform any additional duties as assigned.
