AK-Registered Nurse-Operating Room - 170 RATE

Mobile Health Team Inc. a staffing agency has openings for a Registered Nurse Operating Room. We are looking for someone with a passion for people.

Assignment Start Date: 5/23/2024

13 weeks Days 810hour shift 40 hours/weekly guaranteed

JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE

This position is located within the Operating Room of SouthEast Alaska Regional Health Consortium. We handle all types of elective and emergency cases performed including abdominal thoracic Urology ENT Plastic Orthopedics Vascular and OB/GYN. Multitasks efficiently and ensures the surgical cases proceed throughout the day promptly. Utilizes afterhour call services to staff the Operating Rooms (OR) for nights holidays and weekends. EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATION

Experience:

• Previous OR experience.is required
• Experience in Critical Access Hospital and/or Rural Operating Rooms is strongly preferred.

Education:

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Nursing (BSN Associate degree in nursing or Diploma in nursing)

Licenses Certifications and/or Registration:

• A valid current full and unrestricted RN license in the State of Alaska is required at the time of submission.
• Current BLS/BCLS ACLS and PALS are required

EMR System: Cerner experience preferred

Shift: Days with some night and weekend calls required

Vaccination Requirement: Must have COVID(including 1 booster) and Flu Vaccinations before start

** AK License Required upon submission

** Circulator Nurse position.

** Must have Covid Vaccine (including 1 booster) and Flu Vaccine
