Subsea Engineer

Subsea engineers are the behindthescenes heroes of the energy industry designing developing and implementing the critical equipment and infrastructure used for offshore oil and gas production. This is a highly specialized role that requires a unique blend of engineering expertise and understanding of the harsh subsea environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Design develop and test subsea equipment and systems including wellheads pipelines and production facilities.
  • Perform technical and economic feasibility studies for subsea projects.
  • Analyze and interpret complex data from subsea equipment and reservoirs.
  • Oversee the installation operation and maintenance of subsea systems.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant safety environmental and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with a crossfunctional team of engineers geologists and other professionals.
  • Manage project budgets and timelines.
  • May participate in offshore operations providing technical support and guidance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering Petroleum Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of X years of experience in subsea engineering or a similar field (specify number of years based on company needs).
  • Strong understanding of subsea production systems and equipment.
  • Proficient in engineering design software and analysis tools.
  • Excellent communication collaboration and problemsolving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong work ethic and a commitment to safety.
