Mechanical Engineering Assistant Junior Technician

The primary function in this role is the maintenance of equipment at the company’s production facility and customer sites in line with the company’s Health and Safety protocols. This will include but not limited to performing the daytoday activities and all aspects that are required in the maintenance department. The job scope will include project work for new customer sites.

Requirements:

• National diploma in Mechatronics / Electrical / Mechanical Engineering
• Experiential experience working within industrial gases sector.
• Willingness to undertake Millwright trade apprenticeship.
• Would be advantageous to have pneumatics hydraulics pumps regulators power generation electrical in hazardous area instrumentation mechanical and PLC experience.
• LNG (Liquid Natural Gas) or Cryogenics experience would be advantageous.
• Computer literacy in MS Excel MS Word and MS Outlook.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Will be required to work on a shift basis and standby as per operational requirements.
• Medically fit to work at heights.
