POSITION SUMMARY

The Commercial Operations Manager will oversee the supply chain and optimization of processes within the commercial operations department in Singapore. This includes spearheading the implementation of an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system managing equipment orders from initiation to build with necessary customizations and establishing/ refining standard operating procedures.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Process Optimization: Analyze and document existing processes identify areas for improvement and implement strategic changes in collaboration with HQ.
• ERP Implementation: Lead the local implementation of a new ERP system ensuring integration and alignment with global systems.
• Supply Chain Management: Oversee the supply chain process ensuring smooth operations from order to delivery including managing relationships with suppliers and logistics providers.
• Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP): Drive the S&OP process coordinating between sales marketing production and finance departments to align operational planning with strategic goals manage inventory and forecast demand.
• Financial Collaboration: Work closely with the CFO to ensure that financial and operational aspects of the ERP system are aligned.
• Team Leadership: Recruit train and manage a dedicated team to support ERP implementation and other commercial operations.
• Vendor Management: Manage and evaluate vendor contracts and performance particularly with ERP service providers and equipment suppliers.
• Operational Excellence: Develop and oversee the execution of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all aspects of commercial operations including order management and supply chain logistics.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s or higher degree in Business Administration Operations Management Supply Chain Management or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in operations/ supply chain management and ERP systems.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage teams in a multinational business environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively liaise with stakeholders and headquarters.
