Job Summary: The Communications Representative will be responsible for developing coordinating and executing communication strategies to enhance the organization's public image and internal communication. This role involves creating engaging content managing media relations and ensuring consistent messaging across various platforms. The ideal candidate is a skilled communicator with a knack for storytelling and a passion for building positive relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Media Relations:

   • Build and maintain strong relationships with media outlets and journalists.
   • Pitch stories to media respond to media inquiries and coordinate interviews.
   • Monitor media coverage and report on the effectiveness of media outreach.

2. Internal Communications:

   • Develop and implement internal communication strategies to keep employees informed and engaged.
   • Produce internal newsletters memos and announcements.
   • Organize and manage internal events and meetings.

3. Social Media Management:

   • Manage and grow the organization’s social media presence.
   • Create and curate engaging content for social media platforms.
   • Monitor social media trends and provide insights for continuous improvement.

4. Crisis Communication:

   • Assist in the development and execution of crisis communication plans.
   • Act as a point of contact during crises to disseminate accurate and timely information.

5. Research and Analysis:

   • Conduct research to support communication strategies and initiatives.
   • Analyze communication metrics to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and make datadriven recommendations.

Qualifications:

• Exceptional writing editing and proofreading skills.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms and content management systems.
• Experience with media relations and event planning.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
