DELIVERY BOY

Job Description: We are seeking a reliable and responsible Delivery Boy to join our team. The Delivery Boy will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering goods to customers in a timely manner. The ideal candidate will have a valid driver's license a clean driving record and excellent navigation skills. This role requires someone who can work independently prioritize tasks and provide exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Safely and responsibly operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to customers' locations.
• Load and unload items from the delivery vehicle ensuring that products are handled with care to prevent damage.
• Follow predetermined routes and delivery schedules to meet customer expectations and deadlines.
• Verify delivery instructions and addresses before departing for deliveries.
• Communicate effectively with customers to confirm delivery details and address any questions or concerns.
• Collect payments from customers when required and provide receipts as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries including delivery times items delivered and any issues encountered.
• Perform routine vehicle maintenance and inspections to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the delivery vehicle.
• Adhere to traffic laws regulations and company policies while driving and making deliveries.
• Provide feedback to management on ways to improve delivery processes and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required.
• Excellent navigational skills and familiarity with the local area.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy items as needed.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and make decisions under pressure.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
