OpenText Documentum Expert

Description

We currently have a vacancy for an OpenText Documentum Expert fluent in English to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Brussels Belgium. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment the successful candidate will be integrated in the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site

Your tasks

• Installation configuration and regular upgrade of production and nonproduction Documentum and Preservica environments Xplore and Solr search engines;
• Monitoring the performance and overall health of running Documentum and Preservica instances followup on detected problems and issues both internally and with platform providers (OpenText Preservica);
• Continuous evolution improvement of the managed platforms;
• Implementation and promotion of document management and digital preservation standards and best practices;
• Assistance with the deployment process of dependent custombuilt web applications and services listed above;
• Help developers and business analysts to design and implement solutions seamlessly integrated with Documentum and Preservica;
• Coordination with the infrastructure storage network and database teams about provisioning monitoring and recovery of related services.

Requirements

• University degree in IT or relevant discipline combined with minimum 15 years of relevant working experience in IT;
• Minimum 8 years’ of specific expertise in OpenText Documentum;
• Minimum 6 years’ of specific expertise in Document Management Applications;
• Very good knowledge of Oracle RDBMS;
• Good knowledge of (RedHat) Linux Oracle WebLogic and Oracle Service Bus;
• Knowledge of search engines like Xplore Solr Lucene etc;
• Knowledge of cloud technologies (Microsoft Azure AWS);
• Oracle and cloud technologies certificates would be considered as advantage;
• Excellent command of the English language French would be an asset.
