Lead QA Engineer Infakt

Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Lead QA Engineer with extensive experience in automated testing using Cypress and/or PlayWright. As a Lead QA Engineer you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You will lead a team of QA engineers collaborate with crossfunctional teams and drive the implementation of automated testing strategies.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers providing guidance and support in test automation best practices
• Develop and implement automated testing frameworks using Cypress and/or PlayWright
• Design develop execute and maintain automated test scripts to ensure the quality of web applications
• Collaborate with developers product managers and other stakeholders to understand requirements and develop comprehensive test plans
• Conduct code reviews and contribute to the improvement of testing processes and methodologies
• Identify and prioritize test cases for automation ensuring maximum coverage and efficiency
• Investigate and troubleshoot issues working closely with development teams to resolve defects in a timely manner
• Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in software testing and automation

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field
• 6 years of experience in software quality assurance with a focus on automated testing
• Strong proficiency in automated testing tools such as Cypress and/or PlayWright
• Experience leading a team of QA engineers and driving the implementation of automated testing strategies
• Solid understanding of software development lifecycle Agile methodologies and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
• Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills with a keen attention to detail
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with crossfunctional teams
• Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fastpaced environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with other automation tools/frameworks such as Selenium Appium etc.
• Experience with performance testing tools (e.g. JMeter Gatling)
• Experience with cloudbased testing platforms (e.g. Sauce Labs BrowserStack)
• Relevant certifications in software testing (e.g. ISTQB CSTE)
