Job Description – Backend Developer (Node Nest JS)

Key Duties:

Specialist understanding and experience of the entire web experience lifecycle include planning analysis design coding data management systems user testing problem debugging and resolution.

Design and develop software and algorithms to solve business problems and challenges while ensuring scalability reliability performance and security.

Contribute in product technology & architecture discussions bring fresh ideas and lead all backend development initiatives.

Ability to work independently selfmanage time and concurrent responsibilities including collaborating well in a team environment.

Work in crossfunctional teams and own end to end development process from inception through testing to delivery.

Develop robust backend systems and secure REST APIs. Analyze feature requests and then plan & implement them in a testdriven way. Work in an Agile environment with GitHub code repos to create and review merge

requests to achieve the best possible solution. Interact with different stakeholders for requirements elicitation. Research and apply new technologies and best practices. Design and create secure & scalable APIs for internal and public consumption. Provide task estimations and deliver quality code on time. Build components for a robust messageoriented middleware.

What were looking for:

2 years of strong recent practical experience in developing backend applications using Node js Nest JS & Typescript (with at least 2 years in TypeScript and 2 years in Nest JS)

Excellent knowledge of web standards and technologies (HTML CSS JavaScript HTTP) Working knowledge of relational databases objectoriented design principles and

design patterns with solid experience in data modeling. (Postgres/MySQL and Redis) Solid foundation in software engineering process & best practices (unit testing build

automation continuous integration) Handson software development capabilities with medium or large projects Strong experience setting up and working with CI/CD & AWS/Google Cloud stack Enjoys technical challenges and is capable of proposing and evaluating a solution

against requirements demonstrates a strong customer focus.

Committed to the highest levels of quality demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness. Good written and verbal communication skills in English Experience in data structure and data modeling skills and algorithms Microservices and Serviceoriented architecture experience will be an advantage Solid handson experience in Distributed systems and integrations Rest APIs is a must.
