Embedded Firmware Engineer R&D

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Embedded Firmware Engineer to join our client's R&D team. In this role you will have the opportunity to work on groundbreaking projects contribute to the development of nextgeneration products and collaborate with a diverse team of experts in their fields.

Responsibilities:

• Design develop and optimize embedded firmware for cuttingedge products.
• Collaborate with hardware and software engineers to ensure seamless integration between firmware and hardware components.
• Responsibilities will include the development of new products and enhancing existing ones.
• This role requires a highly versatile skill set and you will have opportunities to contribute to all relevant domains.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure the reliability and performance of firmware.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas to solve complex engineering challenges.
• Document firmware designs specifications and testing procedures.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering Computer Engineering or Computer Science. Master's degree preferred.
• Proven experience in embedded firmware development minimally 5 years with a strong understanding of C/C programming languages in developing optimized and timecritical codes.
• Solid understanding of microcontroller architectures (ARM Cortex M) embedded systems realtime operating systems (RTOS) and bare metal programming on MCUs.
• Experience with communication protocols/developing peripheral drivers such for SPI I2C GIOs SDRAM ADC Timers and UART.
• Familiarity with UBoot.
• Handson FPGA programming (Altera or Xilinx) experience is an added advantage.
• Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail and robust integration skills.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts and ideas to both technical and nontechnical teams.
