Senior QA Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct manual testing of web applications mobile apps and progressive web apps (PWA).

• Develop and execute test plans test cases and test data.

• Create and manage defect reports.

• Perform functional integration System and regression testing.

• Utilize various automation testing tools like Playwright Selenium k6 Rest Assured Cypress and Cucumber.

• Strong knowledge of JavaScript and Java programming languages proficiency in scripting languages including Python is a plus.

• Perform API testing using Postman and GraphQL query testing using Insomnia.

• Conduct performance testing using JMeter.

• Monitor app/website traffic via HTTP Proxy and other proxy tools.

• Execute compatibility testing across different browsers (Firefox Chrome IE and Safari) and operating systems (Windows Android and Mac OS).

• Manage and report project time and progress.

• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams in Agile/Scrum environments.

• Utilize defect and test management tools such as ClickUp Jira GitLab and Trello.

• Manage and mentor team members and subordinates.

Essential Skills and Experience:

• 5 years of experience in QA (both manual and automation).

• Proficiency with automation testing tools: Playwright K6 Selenium Rest Assured Playwright Cypress and Cucumber.

• Experience with manual testing tools: Postman JMeter Insomnia and HTTP Toolkit.

• Solid understanding of SDLC and STLC.

• Handson experience with different test approaches including Waterfall and Agile/Scrum.

• Experience in performing functional integration system and regression testing.

• Familiarity with defect & test management tools like ClickUp Jira GitLab and Trello.

• Proficient in conducting compatibility testing across various browsers and operating systems.

• Strong background in performance testing using JMeter.

• Expertise in API testing using Postman and GraphQL query testing with Insomnia.

• Competence in monitoring app/website traffic via HTTP Proxy and other proxytools.

• Effective team and subordinate management skills.

• Excellent project time reporting and management capabilities.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Familiarity with version control tools such as Git GitLab GitHub and Bitbucket.

• Knowledge of IDEs and development tools like NetBeansm Intelij IDEA and VSCode.

• Proficiency in programming languages and technologies: Java JavaScript and Google Apps Script.
