Job Profile:
The Position will be responsible For:
1. Ensures all daytoday Shipping activities are in compliance with
company's Rules SOP’s and local regulations.
2. Timely review & submission of documents related to import and
exports to DC office Customs or Port Officials.
3. Maintaining records of customer orders complaints & feedback
4. Maintain uptodate repository of regulatory information
including Customs Excise SEZ rules and keep management
informed about the changes.
5. Processing the bills issued by local forwarders CHAs and
shipping lines in order to ensure accuracy and uniqueness.
6. Planning of incoming material packing and shipping based on
availability of warehouse space and resources.
7. Ensure that right packing material is purchased as per
procedure and arranged within required time frame.
8. Handling the administration work in an efficient manner.
9. Coordinating with various departments of the organization.
10. Identify opportunities for process improvement within shipping
and planning activities.
11. Implement measures to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of
operations.
12. Responsible for training and development of Shipping staff.
13. Any other duties or assignments as requested by the General
Manager – India.
Desired Candidates:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Logistics Supply Chain Management or a related field.
Work experience: 5 years in an administrative function in a commercial working environment of a larger organization preferably in a reputed GMP or GDP certified pharmaceutical company.
