Objective of Position

You work with a team of sales reps managers and support staff to provide information simplify technical details offering support and value to our customers.

Sales

  • Obtain and demonstrate detailed industry company competitor and product knowledge.
  • Design and implement a sales plan that will achieve the projected sales goals.
  • Accurate monthly quarterly and yearly forecasting.
  • Meet or exceed budget volume and profitability of sale.
  • Compile lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads.
  • Make outbound calls to potential customers.
  • Make outbound lead followup calls to potential and existing customers by telephone and email to qualify leads and sell products and services
  • Handle inbound sales lead calls to convert calls into sales.
  • Provide product demo's to qualified customers upon request including appropriate pricing information.
  • Emphasize salable features quotes prices and credit terms. Prepare sales orders for orders obtained.
  • Organize time and activities to maximize time in front of customers.
  • Inform customers and potential customers of business changes such as product offering pricing or assembly options.
  • Create and demonstrate strong value propositions for each potential customer and provide value engineering options.

Customer & Sales Support

  • Estimate delivery dates based on knowledge of production and delivery schedules.
  • Complete and submit documentation in a timely manner to ensure product can be ordered and materials / installation scheduled.
  • Enter new customer data and other sales data for customers into computer database.
  • Provide proactive after sales followup to ensure positive and acceptable CSR scores.
  • Investigate and resolve customer inquiries and complaints escalating to Director Sales when necessary.
  • Comply with company policies on pricing discounting credit and collections to ensure profitability.
  • Always represent Durabuilt in a professional manner keeping with the high ethical and cultural standards.
  • Establish long term relationships to maximize sales / customer relationships with contractors architects and trade organizations.

Education

  • Diploma in Business Administration Marketing Commerce or related field.
  • Equivalent experience will be considered.

Experience / Capabilities

  • 3 years’ sales experience.
  • Demonstrated experience with dealing with clientele from different demographics.
  • Experience working in Construction or Building material Industries.
  • Knowledge of basic sales techniques concepts and the ability to influence and persuade.
  • Knowledge of Durabuilt products competitors’ products and company standards.
  • Knowledge of Durabuilt product pricing discount and estimating formulas and guidelines.
  • Able to use electronic software (PQM MS Office etc.) to quote sell and order products and assist in providing prompt and ontime delivery.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and an enterprise resource planning (ERP) program.

Working Conditions

  • Lifting and/or carrying anywhere from 0llbs to 50llbs.
  • Operate primarily in an office environment.
  • Use standard office equipment such as laptop computers and smartphones.
  • Occasional travel to meet clients sell products and attend meetings.
  • Pressure to produce tangible results and complete projects within tight timelines.
