Programme Associate - School Transformation Program

The Programme Associate will be placed in lowincome schools in Chennai/Coimbatore to ensure underperforming students are coached and examready. The Programme Associate will be responsible for establishing and maintaining good rapport with the teachers community and school management to ensure the effective implementation of Bhumi s Schools Transformation Programme in the assigned schools.

School Transformation Program the focus is on the holistic development of children. The program aims to reach out to underprivileged students in low income schools and provide a platform to develop their skills and exhibit their creativity innovative and other vital qualities through a do it yourself experiential learning

Role and Responsibilities:

• Manage all Trainers working with the schools recruit onboard and ensure the daily classes in the schools
  
• Provide training and support to the Trainers to make classes effective and learning enjoyable for the children
  
• Conduct regular meetings with the Trainers and support them as required. Regularly visit all the schools and monitor the classes/sessions
  
• Lead and help in the execution of the program in the assigned schools. Ensure every school adheres to the program deliverables on time
  
• Engage the children Trainers parents teachers and school management in planning for the children s growth. Provide periodic reports to the management on the progress and outcomes
  
• Ensure smooth functioning and implementation of program activities at the schools including assessments workshops events reporting etc.
  

Educational Qualification/Experience:

• Educational Degree : Post Graduation / MSW Graduation / B.Ed. preferred
  
• Relevant Experience(in years) : Preferably 12 experience in working with the schools / NGO / Fieldwork with at least two years in managing a team.

• Good understanding of the pedagogical aspects involved in teaching children.
