Retail Convenience Assistant Store Manager Job South Dublin
Here at Teamworx we are looking for a dedicated and energetic Assistant Store Manager to support the daily operations of a bustling convenience grocery store located in South Dublin. The successful candidate will work closely with the Store Manager to ensure the smooth running of the store drive sales and provide outstanding customer service. This role is perfect for someone with retail experience looking to step up into a managerial position and develop their leadership skills. Requirements for this Retail Assistant Store Manager Job:
- Previous experience in a retail environment preferably in a supervisory or assistant manager role.
- Strong leadership and teambuilding skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Good organizational and problemsolving skills.
- Proficiency in retail software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings weekends and holidays.
- A proactive attitude with a focus on continuous improvement.
Responsibilities for this Retail Assistant Store Manager Job:
- Assist the Store Manager in overseeing all aspects of store operations including staff management inventory control and sales performance.
- Lead by example to motivate and inspire the team to achieve sales targets and maintain high standards of customer service.
- Participate in recruitment training and development of staff to ensure a knowledgeable and capable team.
- Help manage inventory stock levels and merchandising to maximize sales and profitability.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations company policies and procedures.
- Address customer inquiries issues and feedback promptly and professionally.
- Support the Store Manager in monitoring store performance metrics and preparing reports.
- Step in for the Store Manager during their absence ensuring continuity of store operations.
