Job Description
Design engineers research and develop designs for projects in a range of sectors from construction to software medical equipment and manufacturing. They also modify existing products or designs to increase efficiency or improve performance and manage the process of turning their designs into reality.
Requirements
Responsibilities by Level
Implements tools or systems for managing infrastructure or projects. Ensures technical aspects of work are performed in accordance with applicable regulations or project plans. Provides advice on project planning and design process. Investigates problems in construction or renovation projects.
meeting with clients virtually or during sales visits. demonstrating and presenting products. establishing new business. maintaining accurate records. attending trade exhibitions, conferences and meetings. reviewing sales performance. negotiating contracts and packages.
