Housing Program Specialist

Company Overview: Our client is looking for a housing program specialist with construction expertise project management skills and inspection experience. With a valid drivers license and reliable transport are essential.

Position Summary: The ideal candidate should have construction knowledge inspection skills project management experience and effective communication.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular onsite inspections of housing rehabilitation and construction projects to assess progress and quality of work.
  
• Evaluate ongoing work to determine if it aligns with the approved scope of work.
  
• Identify any deviations or discrepancies and provide recommendations for corrective action.
  
• Capture clear and detailed photographs of work progress completed tasks and any issues or concerns observed during inspections.
  
• Maintain organized and accessible photo records for project documentation.
  
• Prepare and submit detailed inspection reports outlining findings observations and recommendations.
  
• Provide updates to the Interim Housing Manager on project status issues and resolutions.
  
• Ensure that all work meets the quality standards set and relevant regulatory bodies.
  
• Verify the use of approved materials and construction methods.
  

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction inspection project management or a similar role.
  
• Strong knowledge of construction methods building codes and regulations required.
  
• Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
  

Necessary Attributes:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  
• Proficient in using construction inspection tools and equipment.
  
• Ability to interpret construction plans and specifications.
  
• Detailoriented with strong organizational and documentation skills.
