Job Description
A CBN licensed Microfinance bank in Nigeria is seeking to hire a Cost Management Officer
Responsibilities:
- Sharing Finance values and principles
- Maniac in getting things done meeting deadlines able to deliver
- Can support deep cooperation within Finance especially with budgeting and reporting teams
- Good at mentoring of subordinates
- Can predict bottlenecks proactively solving issues
- Clearly demonstrates and possesses ownership for cost management
Requirements
Knowledge and Experience
- Well experienced in financial analysis product pricing
- Well experienced in product profitability analysis
- Excellent modelling skills demonstrating best practices
- Good knowledge of Cost and Profit centers
- Excellent understanding of unit economy
- Excellent knowledge of financial analysis financial ratios
- Good knowledge of IFRS is welcome
- Good knowledge of consumer finance and retail lending and associated revenues and costs
- Experienced with foreign companies in Nigeria or abroad
Skills
- Good communication skills
- Deep cooperation with stakeholders good stakeholder management skills
- Excellent MS Office knowledge
- Good knowledge of Mambu is an advantage
- Good level of SQL and/or Redshift
- Variance analysis
- DCF
- Good analytical skills mathematical thinking strong logical thinking
Knowledge and Experience Well experienced with CBN regulations, accounting and reporting requirements Well experienced in managerial reporting Certified with honorable respected professional body (ANAN, ICAN, ACCA) Deep knowledge of IFRS Good knowledge of consumer finance and retail lending Understands inter dependencies between risk and profitability Experienced with foreign companies in Nigeria or abroad Successful and timely audits Knows how to interact with regulatory bodies Good managerial, communication and analytical skills Excellent MS Office knowledge
