Mechanical Design Engineer

1. Conceptual Design and Innovation:
   

   • Generate and develop new ideas for products and mechanical systems.

2. Detailed Design and Analysis:
   

   • Develop detailed designs using CAD (ComputerAided Design) software.
     
   • Perform engineering calculations and simulations to validate designs.
     
   • Conduct stress analysis thermal analysis and other necessary engineering assessments.
     

3. Prototyping and Testing:
   

   • Build and test prototypes to evaluate design performance.
     
   • Modify designs based on prototype testing results and feedback.
     
   • Work with testing equipment and methodologies to ensure prototypes meet required specifications.
     

4. Material Selection and Cost Analysis:
   

   • Choose appropriate materials for products based on performance requirements cost and manufacturability.
     
   • Conduct cost analysis to ensure designs are economically viable.
     

5. Documentation and Technical Reports:
   

   • Create and maintain detailed design documentation including drawings specifications and manuals.
     
   • Prepare technical reports and presentations to communicate design concepts and progress to stakeholders.
     

6. Project Management:
   

   • Manage design projects from concept through to production.
     
   • Coordinate with other engineers departments and stakeholders to ensure project goals and deadlines are met.
     

7. Compliance and Standards:
   

   • Ensure designs comply with relevant industry standards and regulations.
     
   • Stay updated with advancements in technology and industry standards.
     

8. Collaboration and Communication:
   

   • Work closely with other engineers manufacturing teams and suppliers.
     
   • Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide design solutions.
     

9. Product Lifecycle Management:
   

   • Oversee the product development lifecycle from initial design through production and beyond.
     
   • Implement design modifications and improvements based on feedback and evolving requirements.
