Teamworx is recruiting for an awardwinning grocery retail business located in a largely populated town in County Mayo. Our client is a renowned retail food group with a vast number of awards and an excellent track record of promoting internally. Our client is looking to hire an experienced Trainee Retail Manager Supervisor or Duty Manager to join their progressive team.

As the Duty Manager you will have a passion for customer service a strong work ethic and the ability to manage daily store operations efficiently in the absence of the Store Manager.

This role requires a proactive individual who can handle a variety of tasks from supervising staff to ensuring a wellorganized store environment. people with solid experience in a Supervisor or Duty Manager role idea

Our client will offer a salary from 30000 up to 32000 DOE plus benefits.

Requirements for this Retail Duty Manager Job:

• Proven ability in managing a diverse retail offering with a large participation in catering or deli food sales.
  
• Excellent organization skills the ability to lead and motivate a large team under them and experience managing chargehands department managers and shop managers would be an advantage
  
• Excellent operational knowledge of retail and the catering environment.
  
• Excellent people skills demonstrating a leadership style and problemsolving ability calmly and strategically.
  
• Commercially astute looking for opportunities to increase revenue managing costs effectively.
  
• Working knowledge of Labour Law Health & Safety regulations HACCP and Consumer Law.
  
  

Responsibilities for this Retail Duty Manager Job:

• Oversee daily store operations and ensure smooth functioning.
  
• Supervise and support store staff ensuring they follow company policies and provide excellent customer service.
  
• Assist in training new employees and providing ongoing coaching to existing staff.
  
• Handle customer inquiries complaints and issues promptly and professionally.
  
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock replenishment.
  
• Ensure store cleanliness and compliance with health and safety regulations.
  
• Manage cash registers including opening and closing procedures.
  
• Assist in preparing sales reports and analyzing sales performance.
  
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure optimal store performance.
  
• Implement promotional activities and ensure product displays are attractive and effective.
