Retail Grocery Deli Manager Job Cork (4day work week)

Teamworx is recruiting for a Fresh Food Deli Manager to join our client who is a very successful convenience store group with multiple shops across Munster.

Our client is a progressive retail business with great vision and standards in its stores and has gone from strength to strength especially in its busy food service department. We are seeking an individual with experience in Catering Chef roles Cafe management or Deli supervision or even a senior Deli Staff member who would love to be in charge of a fresh deli department someone who is eager to advance and develop and take on a new challenge. As the Deli Manager you will manage a small team train your team to deliver on standards motivate your teams and taking responsibility for how the deli department performs by controlling waste stock holding and ensuring a high level of cleanliness standards and overall positive customer experience.

My client will offer a competitive salary from 15.00 16.00 per hour DOE and is also open to a 4day week if preferred. No late evenings no Sundays.

The ideal candidate for this Deli Manager Job:

• Previous management experience working with food
  
• Excellent customer service
  
• Strong organizational skills
  
• Be able to work both in a team and own initiative
  
• A strong understanding of food safety and HACCP knowledge
  

Responsibilities for this Deli Manager Job:

• Oversee the running of the small bakery the coffee dock and deli itself
  
• Responsible for up to 35 staff members planning out their workload directing work and ensuring tasks are completed correctly.
  
• Stock ordering and control of proper ordering
  
• Ensure the proper management of hygiene and HACCP records
  
• Ensure the standards are maintained in line with company policies.
  
• Train new staff members and provide further training for existing staff
