A leading pharmaceutical company is currently in search of a Regional Sales Manager for pharmaceutical sales. This individual will play an essential role in leading sales within Eastern Nigeria. The primary focus of this role will be spearheading sales growth fostering robust connections with healthcare professionals and effectively promoting our product portfolio in line with company goals.
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve or exceed sales targets and maximize market penetration within the assigned region.
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key accounts healthcare professionals and institutions to promote pharmaceutical products and build strong relationships within the healthcare industry.
Conduct product presentations educational seminars and promotional activities to healthcare professionals and decisionmakers.
Monitor market trends competitor activities and customer feedback to identify opportunities and threats within the market.
Ensure all sales activities comply with company policies industry regulations and ethical standards.
Track sales performance metrics analyse data and provide regular performance feedback to drive continuous improvement.
Manage regional sales budgets effectively ensuring optimal allocation of resources to achieve sales targets within budgetary constraints.
You hold a Bachelors degree in business marketing life sciences or a related field.
You have a minimum of 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales with a proven track record of success.
You possess a robust understanding of the pharmaceutical sector including knowledge of products and market trends.
You excel in communication and presentation with the ability to engage effectively and influence key stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and drive results in a fastpaced competitive environment.
You are a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and the ability to identify and capitalise on market opportunities.
You are proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
Experience using CRM software (e.g. Salesforce) is a plus.
You are willing to travel within the assigned region as needed.
