Job Purpose:

The CA(SA) will oversee the full finance function ensuring accurate financial reporting compliance with accounting standards and effective financial management. This role is crucial for maintaining the financial health of the company and supporting strategic decisionmaking.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting and Analysis:

Prepare and present accurate financial statements and management accounts.

Conduct detailed financial analysis to support strategic decisions.

Ensure compliance with IFRS and other relevant accounting standards.

Audit and Assurance:

Manage internal and external audit processes.

Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records.

Address audit queries and implement audit recommendations.

Tax Compliance:

Prepare and review VAT income tax and other statutory returns.

Ensure compliance with tax regulations and timely submission of returns.

Financial Management:

Oversee cash flow management budgeting and forecasting.

Manage intercompany transactions and reconciliations.

Handle investment transactions and reconciliations.

Systems and Process Improvement:

Maintain and improve financial systems and databases.

Provide insights and suggestions for process improvements to enhance efficiency.

Client and Stakeholder Interaction:

Address client service inquiries professionally and promptly.

Prepare accurate reports for stakeholders within deadlines.

Team Leadership:

Provide guidance and support to junior accountants and finance staff.

Foster a collaborative and highperformance work environment

Requirements

Qualifications and Experience:

CA(SA) qualification is mandatory.

Proven experience as a Chartered Accountant or in a similar financial role.

• Previous experience managaing a finance team
  

Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite particularly Excel.

Familiarity with tax regulations and compliance.
