Job Description
Animal Care Center of Sonoma County one of our premier 24hour Emergency and Specialty practices located in Rohnert Park is looking for an Emergency Veterinarian who enjoys practicing advanced medicine with a cohesive tenured team.
Signon Bonus up to $50k with a twoyear commitment for doctors with 2 years of experience!
The hospital started as an emergency practice and grew into a wellrespected specialty and referral center moving into our existing 18000 sq ft facility 21 years ago. The former movie multiplex was completely remodeled to accommodate our large specialty practice with 15 exam rooms and 4 surgical suites.
Today we are a team of 12 doctors and 67 support team members including 20 licensed veterinary technicians that are passionate about providing compassionate and exceptional care.
Emergency medicine is the foundation of our hospital collaborating with our specialists to provide care to patients from all over Northern California. Our current specialties are cardiology neurology internal medicine and oncall surgery. Our spacious treatment room holds the stateoftheart equipment needed to provide this excellent patient care; telemetry ER ultrasound multiparameter monitoring equipment fullsize 12lead ECG 3 Snyder oxygen chambers cold laser a dedicated triage/code table and 4 additional wet tables. Besides the tools in our treatment room our specialists use our MRI CT endoscopy specialized ultrasound machines and flouroscopy to help support our emergency teams care of their patients.
Stateoftheart equipment is essential but useless without a good team. We strive for a cohesive supportive and collegial relationship with one another and our valued referring veterinarian partners. Our emergency team is efficient and skilled. They are utilized to the fullest extent allowing our emergency doctors to focus on their primary responsibilities. We also have a fully staffed laboratory and pharmacy team that allows our medical team to focus on the patients and clients.
As managers our goal is to support our team so they can deliver exceptional patient care while maintaining a worklife balance. We endeavor to provide a professional and fun environment that allows our team to leave work feeling accomplished in caring for pets and their people. Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary degree or equivalent from an accredited university
- Active Veterinary State License

Compensation is negotiable based on education experience and other relevant credentials. The annual salary range for this position is $64000 to $240000.
