Now Hiring: Assistant Operations / Terminal Manager

In this multifaceted role youll navigate our success by:

  • Overseeing Daily Operations: Assist in managing the daytoday accountabilities of our operations staff ensuring efficient time management regulatory compliance and adherence to company policies.
  • Maximizing Resource Utilization: Ensure the effective and efficient use of company assets including technology drivers tractors and trailers.
  • Fostering Excellence: Coordinate and facilitate comprehensive training programs for assigned employees empowering them to exceed financial service and safety goals.
  • Championing Compliance: Administer and enforce DOT Hours of Service regulations OSHA standards CTPAT best practices and company policies with a firm yet fair approach.
  • Driving Performance: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and productivity goals for assigned drivers conducting ridealongs and observations to identify areas for coaching and development.
  • Ensuring Safety First: Lead investigations into incidents workplace injuries and accidents coordinating with the Safety team to uphold stringent compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Empowering Teams: Maintain a highly engaged culture motivating team members and fostering an environment of teamwork accountability communication and vision.
Beyond operational oversight youll collaborate with crossfunctional teams spearhead process improvements and cultivate strong customer relationships representing Benore with professionalism and integrity.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in management transportation or a related field (or an Associates degree with relevant experience)
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience with a reputable transportation provider in an operations or logistics management rolE
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 suite transportation software (TMW Peoplenet etc.) and reporting tools
  • Knowledge of Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations and CTPAT
  • Strong multitasking abilities and ability to thrive in a fastpaced environment
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Valid drivers license (Class D) and eligibility for company vehicle insurance

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Management, Transportation, or related field preferred 5+ years of operations, logistics, or terminal management experience with a reputable transportation provider Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams In-depth knowledge of DOT regulations, transportation operations, and safety protocols Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities Proficiency with transportation management systems and Microsoft Office suite Valid driver's license and ability to operate commercial vehicles
