Job Description
Responsibilities:
The Senior Property Accountant will:
- Maintain accounting records and perform monthly bank reconciliations
- Enter review and post monthly Accruals
- Support the Property and Asset Managers in review and preparation of monthly variance reports and billing reports
- Process all accounts payable for accuracy of G/L codes applied by AP team
- Monitor the Accounts Receivable process; monitor cash receipts review and bill recurring charges and billing adjustments
- Runs recurring monthly rental billing reports to review for accuracy is consistent with monthly budgets
- Prepare CAM Reconciliations
- Assist with ad hoc accounting projects as needed
Qualifications:
- 5 years of relevant Property Accounting experience
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting Finance Business or related field
- Experience with Yardi software
- Microsoft Excel proficient (Vlookups Pivot tables and sumifs)
- Solid analytical and mathematical skills
- Great interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong attention to detail
- Highly organized
