Were looking for a Database Developer (PostgreSQL) who will empower us to build industry disruptive tech products and enable us to provide our customers with smart actionable insights that will revolutionise their businesses.

Responsibilities

• Design stable reliable and effective databases
• Modify databases according to requests and perform tests
• Solve database usage issues and malfunctions
• Develop stored procedures and SQL queries
• Work with developers to improve applications and establish best practices
• Gather user requirements and identify new features
• Perform database updates and migrations
• Ensure all database programs meet company and performance requirements
• Research and suggest new database products services and protocols

You have

• BS Computer Science degree with outstanding academic performance or equivalent industry experience
• Minimum 5 years of experience developing relational databases on Linux such as MySQL or PostgreSQL
• Proven work experience as a Database developer Indepth understanding of data management (e.g. permissions recovery security and monitoring)
• Proficient in creating complex stored procedures and SQL scripts
• Knowledge of software development and user interface web applications
• An ability to understand frontend user requirements and have a problemsolving attitude
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
