Sr Accountant

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to oversee general accounting operations by controlling and verifying our financial transactions. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail excellent organizational skills and a deep understanding of accounting principles. Reporting directly to the Financial Controller the Senior Accountant will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records preparing financial reports and providing strategic insights to support decisionmaking processes.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department including accounts payable accounts receivable and general ledger functions.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards policies and regulations.
• Prepare and review financial statements budgets and forecasts.
• Conduct monthend and yearend close processes including reconciliations and financial analysis.
• Assist in the development and implementation of internal controls and procedures to enhance efficiency and mitigate risks.
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to support strategic initiatives and provide financial insights.
• Participate in financial audits and coordinate with external auditors.
• Mentor and train junior accounting staff as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field; CPA certification preferred.
• 5 years of progressive accounting experience with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong proficiency in accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks SAP) and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
