Job Description

Job overview and responsibility

  • Update monthly security patches and GSM packages from Qualcomm and Google and perform sanity test
  • Resolve new GMS issues for every Development tag executed every 2/3 days and perform Sanity Test
  • Pick up Monthly Qualcomm Release and perform Sanity Test
  • Resolve SonarQube and Klocwork issues for every D tag release
  • Analyze Report from White Source of the OSS libraries used in Android by client apply patch if patch is already available perform impacted areas test and Sanity Test
  • Analyze and resolve any security vulnerabilities detected from regular scan using Mobfs tools
  • Scrub and resolve unique crashes Tombstone kernel Panic ANR issues from Device Health Fault Management Portal

Required skills and experiences

  • 3 years of experience as an Embedded Android Developer
  • Prior Qualcomm experience is a must
  • Experience/knowledge in mobile application software development tools (e.g. GIT JIRA ..) sanity testing process (Agile Kanban) and configuration management.
  • Candidate must be willing to work in Bayan Lepas Penang

Preferred skills and experiences

  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
