Job Description

Key Account Manager Mechanical Systems Mechanical / Seating / Mechanisms

Location: Novi MI (Hybrid Position)
Salary: $110000 Bonus Car Allowance

This role is perfect for someone who has expertise in mechatronics actuator systems control cables or seating systems with a proven track record in Tier 1 supplier engagement.

Role Summary:
As a Key Account Manager you will split your focus equally between nurturing existing accounts and driving new business initiatives. Your primary responsibilities will include managing detailed account plans fostering longterm client relationships and aggressively pursuing new business opportunities to contribute to the companys rapid growth trajectory.

Essential Duties:

  • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key stakeholders within the automotive supply chain.
  • Manage both the operational and strategic aspects of customer accounts.
  • Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities to enhance profitability.
  • Collaborate with engineering program management and operations teams to develop innovative solutions and quotes.
  • Ensure compliance with all customer requirements and manage commercial issues efficiently.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering or Business.
  • Experience of mechanisms mechatronics control cables or seating systems.
  • Minimum of 5 years of sales experience with automotive seating Tier1 suppliers or equivalent.
  • Strong understanding of engineering product sales including pricing strategies and customer management.
  • Proven record of achieving revenue growth and profitability in a similar role.
