Staff Accountant

Job Summary:We are seeking a motivated and detailoriented Staff Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will assist with managing financial records preparing reports and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Key Responsibilities:

• General Ledger Management: Assist in maintaining and reconciling general ledger accounts.
• Accounts Payable and Receivable: Support the processing of invoices payments and receipts.
• Financial Reporting: Help prepare monthly quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Compliance: Ensure adherence to internal controls and accounting policies.
• Journal Entries: Assist with the preparation and posting of journal entries.
• Bank Reconciliations: Perform monthly bank reconciliations and help investigate discrepancies.
• Expense Reports: Review and process employee expense reports.
• Support MonthEnd Close: Assist in the monthend close process.
• Fixed Assets: Help maintain fixed asset records and perform periodic reconciliations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field.
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite particularly Excel.
• Excellent analytical organizational and problemsolving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication skills both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High level of integrity and professionalism.
