In this role you will perform a variety of assignments within a manufacturing environment.

• Documentation
• Performing weigh outs using a balance operating a pH meter making precise measurements following precise instructions keeping the lab area clean washing lab ware and assisting with organizing lab supplies
• Material handling loading and unloading panels from equipment
• Operation of high throughput automated panel packaging and filling line for molecular diagnostics products
• Initial training will be on immunoassay product lines
• Loading/unloading dryers
• Complete batch records
• Loading pallets and transporting them to a storage freezer
• Read understand and follow company and department standard operating procedures
• Adhere to all policies and procedures to reflect operations; ensure FDA ISO and related regulatory requirements are consistently met
• Update and maintain personal training record electronically
• Perform daily housekeeping of the production areas and equipment as required.

Salary: $DOE/ hr (long term contract)

Schedule: Mon Fri 4pm 12:30pm OT as needed

Location: West Sacramento CA

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent Required!
• Min 1 year of working experience in a manufacturing environment
• Understanding of Lean Manufacturing concepts and applications
• Previously worked in a clean room and warehouse environment A Plus!
• Previous experience in a GMP ISO or FDA environment or medical device manufacturing environment Preferred!
• Previous experience using a sitdown forklift A Plus!
• Computer experience w/ some proficiency w/ MS Office (Word Excel)
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize work to complete assignments in a timely basis and ability to work under deadlines
• Team Player Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Ability to be flexible and work OT as needed
• Must be authorized to work in the US for any employer
• The position is subject to passing a background check and drug screen
