Job Description:
- Plant Biotechnology Transformation Team in St Louis is seeking an enthusiastic highly motivated and energetic individual to participate in the critical work of supporting R&D pipeline by supplying transgenic crops for testing.
- The successful candidate will perform plant tissue culture tasks inoculation with bacteria sterile tissue transfer transfer of plants to soil and data collection.
- Responsibility also includes lab logistics support such as autoclaving lab supplies preparation etc.
- Desire to work within a team environment is essential.
Required Skills:
- A bachelors degree in biology chemistry cellular biology biotechnology or related field is required.
- Experience working in a laboratory environment is highly desirable.
- Attention to detail database experience ability to work in a team setting and strong communication and organizational skills are essential.
- Sterile technique experience is a plus.
