Position: Computer Technician
Location: City of Industry CA 91748
Duration: 12 Months
Pay Rate: $21.43 $22.86/hr.
Job Type: Contract
Work Type: Driving
Additional Notes:
- This is a driving job and must have their OWN CAR with valid drivers license and car insurance as well.
- This is a 12 months contract position and there are possibilities to extend or contract to hire based on performance.
- Driving Required: 250350 miles per week. Mileage will be reimbursed.
Key Responsibilities:
- As a Client Field/Computer Technician you will be assigned service requests to repair Laptops and Desktops in the metro area.
- Your assignments will include repair activities such as replacing hard drives motherboards and keyboards.
- You may also perform whole unit swaps repair or replace PC peripherals.
- Must have reliable transportation as this role services the metro and surrounding areas.
- Close service tickets in real time in the Client Call Management system using Company provide phone.
- You will be working mostly for Dell Products (So previous experience will be Plus).
- You will be travelling in a radius of 30 to 50 miles from the Pickup parts location.
- You need to take the Dell certifications training (Online) and complete the certifications. free
Key Qualifications:
- 1 Years of handson experience with laptop and desktop breakfix
- Computerbuilding background experience preferred
- General knowledge of laptop / desktop hardware and software including basic knowledge of Microsoft applications
- Ability to resolve basic / noncomplex problems as directed
- Client and/or governmental clearance may be required
- Police or criminal background verification clearance may be required
