Overview
As a Live Sports Scheduling Coordinator you will work within a team of other scheduling coordinators that will be responsible for managing game fixtures broadcasts and schedules for our newly established Chicago office and network ensuring optimal coverage during live sports events. Additionally you will play a key role in scheduling training sessions and interviews fostering efficiency and peak performance. Collaborating with project managers you will drive crossdepartment scheduling initiatives using the best tools and technologies available.
What youll do
Maintain the organization of college basketball and football schedules including postseason games tournaments MTEs and neutralsite events so there will be no surprises within coverage.
Ensure alignment between TV and stream schedules with employee shifts and game assignments for seamless coverage.
Coordinate with the Quality Lead and Training Specialist to manage schedules for training sessions ensuring timely coordination and attendance of employees.
Collaborate with department leaders to strategize and implement workforce planning initiatives aligning scheduling efforts with longterm business goals and objectives.
Take on additional responsibilities beyond the scope of the original role actively contributing to various facets of the TXODDS operational tasks and crossfunctional projects demonstrating adaptability and a willingness to support the team in diverse areas as needed.

- Solid experience in managing project management event coordination or similar roles within a technologydriven environment.
- Confidence in making decisions and managing multiple tasks against tight deadlines.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills capable of working cohesively with various teams.
- We require candidates to have flexible availability for nights weekends and holiday shifts as the college football and basketball schedules and game duration determine.
- Demonstrate punctuality and regular attendance to training sessions and work shifts.
- Collaborates and communicates well within a team contributing to group goals and projects.
- This is not a remote position. Reliable private or public transportation to the downtown Chicago office is required.
- Adaptability to swiftly changing environments and the ability to remain poised under pressure.
- English skills (written and spoken) and computer proficiency are required. Candidates must be able to sit for up to four or more hours at a time.
Nice to have
- A background in sports managementbroadcasting communications or a related field.
- Understanding of TV and streaming schedules and their impact on live event coverage.
- Previous experience training a teamin a manager or supervisor role.
- Working knowledge ofOffice 365 products VoIP platforms and scheduling software such as Humanity or Calendly.
- Strong ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fastpaced environment.
- A genuine interest in college sports to drive motivation and attention to detail.
