Client Accounting Services Manager

Founded in 1919 we are the 10th largest accounting firm in the Chicago area. Our 420 professionals provide accounting tax due diligence IT retirement plan and business consulting services to middle market and entrepreneurial companies in a variety of industries as well as government entities public school districts and nonprofit organizations.

Open to Hybrid Setup:

• Audit staff needs to be on site at client locations and in our offices as determined by clients and team leads.

How You Will Contribute:

• Perform accounting services including bank and general ledger reconciliations journal entries compile financial statements create/maintain financial projections etc.
• Prepare schedules needed for external auditors and tax return preparers.
• Assist with researching implementing training on new accounting software.
• Interview accounting personnel for permanent placement.
• Assist with managing training and developing staff.

About YOU!

• Bachelors or masters degree in accounting.
• CPA License Required.
• 5 years of experience in audit or accounting services at another midmarket CPA firm
• Experiece working with privately held companies
• Experience supervising and mentoring staff.
• DAILY ACCESS TO A VEHICLE to commute to and from clients as needed and to all our 3 offices.
