Director of Finance

Position: Director of FinanceLocation: City of WilmoreThe City of Wilmore is seeking a highlyskilled and experienced Director of Finance to join our team. As the Director of Finance you will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities of the city including budgeting forecasting financial reporting and compliance.Responsibilities: Develop and implement financial policies and procedures Prepare annual budget and financial forecasts Monitor and analyze financial performance Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and accounting standards Manage cash flow and banking relationships Supervise and mentor finance team Provide financial advice and support to senior managementQualifications: Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field; MBA or CPA preferred Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management Strong analytical and problemsolving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proven leadership abilities Experience working in a government or municipal setting is a plusIf you are a highlymotivated individual with a passion for financial management and a desire to make a positive impact on our community we want to hear from you.
