Application Specialist

BioLamina is looking for an Application Specialist to join the team fulltime. The role is a parental leave cover for the period of 12 months starting August/September.

Responsibilities

As the Application Specialist you will serve as both our technical specialist and instructor. You feel at ease sharing information and engaging in sales to the biotech and scientific communities. Complex scientific knowledge will be identified modified and packaged to match a variety of audiences and marketing materials. You will collaborate with our technical sales support staff as well as other departments within the organization in crossfunctional teams. By establishing procedures being flexible and having the capacity to organize your work and produce outcomes in line with plans and objectives.

The Role

• Together with the application team strengthen and keep our sales & marketing team and materials up to date.
• Identify critical scientific data related to BioLamina products and package them to fit different types of marketing & sales materials.
• Provide technical support to both customers and the sales & marketing team.
• Based on customer questions identify and evaluate potential gaps in our support materials.
• Contribute as a technical sales specialist. As you advance in your position participate in sales as the technical specialist.

Required Qualifications

• PhD ideally in cellular biology or a similar discipline.
• Highly excited by scientific communication for different target audiences.
• Strong written and oral communication skills in English.
• Outstanding troubleshooting and multitasking skills.
• Handson cell culture experience.

Desired Qualifications

• Technical assistance or commercial expertise in the biotech or pharmaceutical industries.
• Sales experience.
• Experience in creating and developing educational materials.
• Knowledge of stem cell cultivation.
