Requirements:

• 1 years of supervisory experience
• 2 years experience in Accounts Payable

About the Role

The Accounts Payable Manager is responsible for supervising the AP clerks in preparing all emergency and on property checks. This person will also manage relationships and communications with external vendors other departments and shared services.

Responsibilities

• Review all invoices during the batch edit stage guide clerks on making corrections post batches to accounts payable interface with the general ledger and balance all required reports.
• Assist clerks in reconciling challenging accounts.
• Be available for questions and information sharing with other departments including general ledger accounts receivable purchasing payroll receiving and others.
• Provide continual training to accounts payable team.

Requirements

• Good working knowledge of computers tax requirements and general ledger coding systems.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Infinium Payables experience preferred.
• Knowledge of processing governmental compliance reports including 1099 forms and sales tax returns.
